Our Commitment
Various Archives is committed to making the platform usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies.
Our Standard
We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We are working toward conformance progressively and expect to deepen compliance as the platform matures.
Current Status
Various Archives is currently a microenterprise within the meaning of the European Accessibility Act. We have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit.
This page will be updated as our accessibility work progresses and when a formal audit is completed.
What We Focus On Today
- Clear page structure with meaningful headings.
- Keyboard operability for navigation, filters, and forms.
- Readable text and sufficient colour contrast.
- Meaningful labels and clear error messages on forms.
- Alternative text for images that carry information.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the experience may not yet meet our intended level of conformance. We welcome reports that help us prioritise fixes.
