Terms of Service
Terms governing access to and use of the Various Archives website, marketplace experience, and related services.
Who We Are
Various Archives is operated by Various Archives, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with registered office at 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States.
You can contact us at contact@various-archives.com.
What Various Archives Is
The public marketplace and legal pages are available at https://various-archives.com.
Various Archives is a curated discovery platform for luxury vintage and archival fashion. The platform displays products from professional sellers and directs shoppers to the seller's Shopify store and Shopify checkout.
Various Archives does not hold inventory, process buyer payments, or act as merchant of record for buyer purchases. The seller is responsible for checkout, payment processing, shipping, returns, refunds, taxes, duties, and after-sales support.
Eligibility
You may use the service only if you can form a legally binding contract under applicable law.
If you apply as a seller or act on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to bind that business.
Newsletter, waitlist, and consent-based features may only be used if you are old enough to provide valid consent under the laws that apply to you.
Accounts and Local Features
You can browse Various Archives without an account. Optional buyer accounts let you sign up with an email and password or with Google, keep your wishlist and cart across devices, and manage preferences such as your preferred department and newsletter subscription.
If you browse as a guest, wishlist and cart state may be stored locally in your browser. When you sign in, guest state is merged into your account.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You can export your account data and delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Professional Sellers
Various Archives works with professional sellers only. A professional seller is a person or business operating a professional resale activity, with curation, expertise, and a commercial structure.
Seller onboarding is reviewed manually. We may request business registration information, store documentation, identity verification for authorised representatives, or other materials needed to confirm professional status and marketplace fit.
Sellers who install Various Archives Connector are also subject to the Seller Terms.
Seller Content
Listings shown on Various Archives are based on product information supplied by sellers through their Shopify catalog. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, condition information, availability, pricing, images, and descriptions they provide.
Sellers grant Various Archives a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display, and promote seller-provided content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.
Curation, Ranking, and Discovery
The service may organise listings through filters, sorting, search, editorial selections, and marketplace curation. We do not currently offer paid placement, sponsored ranking, or paid prominence.
Where a trending indicator is used, it reflects aggregated on-site signals such as views, clicks, wishlist saves where available, and recency. Payment from sellers is not used to calculate trending placement.
Buyer Responsibilities
Before buying, you are responsible for reviewing the seller's product page, condition details, sizing, pricing, shipping terms, taxes, duties, and return policy.
The transaction takes place on the seller's Shopify checkout under the seller's own terms and policies. For questions about an order, the seller is your first point of contact. If you cannot resolve an issue with the seller, contact Various Archives support and we will assist where we can.
Authenticity and Product Information
Sellers are responsible for verifying authenticity and for ensuring that their items are lawful to sell and ship. We review sellers before onboarding and may review listings at our discretion, but we do not independently authenticate every item.
Any claim about a purchased item, including authenticity, condition, delivery, return, or refund, must be raised with the seller as merchant of record.
